Agents/Marketing AI Agent
Marketing AI Agent ยท Shopify + Klaviyo

Your AI agent builds the weekly campaign. You keep the final say.

It scores every product using margin, stock and sales velocity, selects what to promote, builds the campaign in Klaviyo, and waits for your approval. Every step is logged, and nothing sends without a human click.

Merchandising intelligence

It chooses what to promote using commercial data.

Most weekly campaigns start with whatever is new, visible, or top of mind. The Marketing AI Agent starts with the catalogue and the commercial objective.

Margin

It identifies products that support your gross-margin priorities.

Stock

It surfaces inventory that needs to move and steps back from products that are nearly sold out.

Sales velocity

It balances current demand with the need to keep the wider catalogue moving.

The weekly workflow

The AI agent does the work. Your team approves the send.

  1. 1

    Reads Shopify

The AI agent pulls the agreed product, inventory, cost, and performance data from your catalogue.

  2. 2

    Scores the catalogue

It applies your weighting across margin, stock depth, and sales velocity.

  3. 3

    Builds the product story

It selects a coherent group of products and creates the campaign copy.

  4. 4

    Creates the Klaviyo campaign

It builds the draft in your existing account and applies your template and brand rules.

  5. 5

    Checks the campaign

It runs seven pre-send checks and flags anything that needs attention.

  6. 6

    Waits for approval

It sends a single-use approval link. Nothing sends without a human click.

  7. 7

    Rechecks stock and sends

Immediately before send, it validates live availability again. Klaviyo remains the sending platform.

Your existing stack

Shopify stays the source of truth. Klaviyo still sends.

The Marketing AI Agent sits between the systems you already use. It reads Shopify, builds the campaign in Klaviyo, and keeps your campaigns, templates, customer list, and data in your own accounts.

This is a configured implementation, not another marketing platform or a replacement for your existing tools.

Source of truth

Shopify

Products, inventory, cost, and sales data stay in your Shopify catalogue. The agent reads them, it does not replace them.

Sending platform

Klaviyo

The campaign is built as a draft in your own Klaviyo account, using your template and your list. Klaviyo still does the sending.

What changes

A smarter and more consistent weekly campaign operation.

Smarter selection

The AI agent prioritises inventory the business needs to move.

Reliable execution

A ready-to-review campaign arrives on schedule in the tools your team already uses.

Human control

Your team reviews, edits, approves, or holds every campaign before send.

Best fit

Built for catalogue businesses with real merchandising decisions.

Strong fit

  • Shopify and Klaviyo are already in place
  • The catalogue has more products than the team can feature regularly
  • Products have meaningful differences in margin and stock depth
  • The business sends weekly or fortnightly campaigns
  • Inventory, descriptions, and unit-cost data are accurate
  • The team wants automation with a human approval gate

Less suitable

  • The business has only a handful of products
  • Catalogue or inventory data is incomplete or inaccurate
  • Campaign work is primarily bespoke editorial storytelling
  • The business wants fully unattended sending with no human approval

If one or two of these apply, it is usually a data question rather than a no. The Agent Readiness Assessment looks at exactly this before anything is built.

Why governance

What goes wrong when campaign automation is ungoverned.

Connecting a language model to Shopify and Klaviyo is the easy part. Running it against a live customer list, week after week, is where ungoverned automation gets expensive. The failures are rarely dramatic: they are quiet, and customers usually see them before your team does.

Off-policy sends

A campaign goes out with an unapproved discount, an unsupported product claim, or copy that drifts from the brand. The list receives it before anyone inside the business has read it.

Sold-out promotions

Stock moves between build and send, and the campaign drives your best customers to products they can no longer buy. The send is wasted and the inbox trust is spent anyway.

Silent drift

Costs, margins, and priorities change but the scoring does not. The agent keeps confidently promoting lines the business no longer wants to push, and nobody notices for a quarter.

No record of the send

When a claim is challenged or a discount is disputed, nobody can show what the agent read, why a product was selected, or who approved the campaign.

The controls

Approval is part of the architecture, not a setting.

The Marketing AI Agent runs inside controls that are configured before launch and enforced on every campaign. The agent prepares the work; the authority stays with your team.

Scoped authority

The agent reads the agreed Shopify data and builds drafts in your own Klaviyo account. It cannot send, edit templates, touch your customer list, or widen its own permissions.

Approval gates

Every campaign carries a single-use approval link. Your team reviews, edits, approves, or holds; once the link is used it is destroyed, and if nobody approves, nothing leaves.

Escalation to named humans

When a pre-send check fails or the agent meets something outside its rules, the campaign is held and routed to a named owner on your team, not a shared inbox.

Full audit trail

Every scoring run, product selection, draft, check result, approval, and send is logged, so you can always show what the agent read, what it built, and who signed it off.

Pre-send guardrails

The agent applies configured checks throughout planning, copy creation, and the final pre-send review. Examples of what they include:

  • Out-of-stock products are excluded
  • Product cooling-off rules reduce unnecessary repetition
  • The required unsubscribe link is checked
  • Copy is constrained to approved catalogue information
  • Unsupported or sensitive product claims are flagged for review
  • Minimum-stock and discount-ceiling settings are applied
  • Live stock is validated again immediately before send

These controls can reduce operational and claims risk, but they do not replace legal or regulatory review.

Governed agent retainer

Set the commercial rules without rebuilding the system.

Cooling-off periods, minimum stock, discount ceilings, margin-versus-stock weighting, risk terms, and send timing are configuration choices. Strategy changes should take seconds, not a development sprint.

The governed build covers:

  • Catalogue and data-quality assessment
  • Shopify and Klaviyo connection
  • Margin, stock, and sales-velocity scoring setup
  • Brand and email-template configuration
  • Human approval workflow
  • Risk-term and product-claim controls
  • Live-stock validation
  • Test campaign and launch review

The build is not priced off a rate card: it is scoped and quoted through the Agent Readiness Assessment, based on your catalogue, data quality, and approval flow.

Governed agent retainer

$1,250 per month

  • Monitoring of every run, check, and send
  • Escalation handling when a campaign is held
  • The full audit trail, maintained and retained
  • Approved knowledge base maintenance: brand rules, risk terms, and templates kept current
